antique key necklace

The sterling silver antique key charm on this necklace was cast from a mold of a tiny door key from Victorian-era England. I had a box of antique keys and I saved the cutest, tiniest one to use as the model for this necklace. The casting picked up all the pitting and bumps from the original antique key.

The key is 1" high and hangs from a length of large chain which is attached to a 24" necklace. The clasp is handmade. The key charm, chain, and clasp are all oxidized sterling silver.
